Inspired by the ethos of urban acupuncture, this project echoes the belief that a city, similar to a living organism, can be healed through strategic interventions at pivotal points. This
medical haven stands as a testament, a small-scale intervention that catalytically transforms the urban tapestry, interweaving compatible functions to infuse economic vitality into its broader context.

Conscious of spatial constraints, the architectural design deftly achieves optimal leasable space while retaining its distinctive character. A commitment to pedestrians is embodied in the visually porous street façade, a dynamic veil that extends from the thoroughfare to the building’s front, enhancing public space. The interplay of cantilever canopies guides the way, connecting the pedestrian zone to the off-street parking enclave.

Embarking through the western portals and ascending a ceremonial staircase, visitors are transported to a gymnasium of double-volume proportions, adorned with light-drenched
studios. Linear architectural forms, accentuated by expansive glazed openings, forge a harmonious connection between the inner sanctum and the surrounding panorama. The gym’s essence is defined by double volumes and mezzanine spaces, engaging in a visual dialogue through an elegant flight of steel stairs.
